Naranjito sits on one of the island’s best food routes, and the closest table is half a kilometre down the same road. Driving times are approximate — these are mountain roads.
Zip line park
The adventure park in neighbouring Orocovis, home to one of the longest zip lines in the world. Book ahead — it opens Thursday through Monday and fills up on weekends.
Grill & wine
Your closest neighbour, on the very same road. Wood-fired meats, a serious wine list and a terrace that looks all the way to San Juan. Takes group reservations.
Gastrobar
Further up route 152. Churrasco, risotto and a cocktail programme people drive up for, with live jazz on some nights. Ask about the deposit for large parties.
Chinchorro
A small roadside spot with cocktails far better than it lets on. Rice croquettes, fish tacos, smoked chicken. Parking is tight, so send one car ahead.
Breakfast & coffee
Where the group goes for breakfast. Pancakes, waffles, avocado toast and proper coffee, with board games on the tables. Closed Mondays.

Timber beams under cathedral ceilings. A bed built into a raised platform. A headboard of pine slats. An open shower in turquoise tile. Which one you wake up in changes the morning.
